The man who writes...

Shesh didn’t set out to become a crime thriller author. In fact, for years he was an “author in denial,” quietly writing stories and sharing them only with family and close friends. That changed when his wife and muse, Radhika, issued a pointed ultimatum: publish or perish. Given her kitchen’s suspicious collection of sharp implements and unlabelled powders, Shesh wisely chose publication.

Today, he is the creator of The Corporate Assassin series, a darkly witty and sharply plotted collection of 13 crime thrillers set in Singapore, the world’s “safest country”, where complacence can be fatal.

His debut novel, Sixty Is The New Assassin, introduces Ishmael Dollah, an unremarkable retired CEO who discovers he’s disturbingly well suited to a second career as a professional assassin.

Shesh’s follow-up, Assassins Are Our Greatest Assets, continues Ishmael’s evolution from corporate strategist to cold blooded problem solver, blending boardroom logic with lethal precision.

Shesh  now lives in Dubai. He is on the run loves runs in the early morning, exhilarating tennis matches, and building up corporations into billion-dollar behemoths. Shesh is a voracious reader. He has always been irritated by protagonists ruled by angst or past tragedies.

Ishmael has no such qualms. He is a happy, well-adjusted assassin with no dark secrets.

Ishmael lives in Singapore. He loves his family, his country, and his life. Murder is just icing on the cake.

Contact Shesh only if you have an assigment for Ishmael Dollah.
